Dato Gooding
Dato Gooding is a dedicated mental health professional who utilizes an integrative, client-centered approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, and Psychodynamic modalities to meet each client’s unique needs.
He has experience supporting individuals with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and spectrum disorders, with specialized interests in working with student-athletes, adolescents, relationships, and career development. Known as “Doc,” he prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, empathy, and collaboration to foster meaningful growth and resilience.
Dato Gooding is an active member of the American Counseling Association and remains committed to ongoing professional development to stay aligned with best practices in the field. He is an upcoming 2026 graduate of Northwestern University’s CACREP-accredited Graduate School of Counseling.
